When does the event begin?
The event will begin on Valentine’s Day!

When is the deadline? Will there be extensions?
The deadline is April 28th. There will be no further extensions.

Is this a zine?
No, definitely not! We will have the AO3 collection and the Twitter hashtag to refer to in the future, however.

Can Minors participate?
Demise LITE specific: Minors may participate in the Demise LITE edition. Please make note of the Demise LITE-specific rules. There is a separate collection and a separate Twitter hashtag for Demise LITE participants.

Is NSFW content allowed?
It is, but it is not required!

Demise LITE specific: NSFW content will NOT be allowed in the Demise LITE edition. Any minors who submit NSFW content will be forcibly removed from the Event.

Can we do problematic works?
You may! However, please none of the following:
• Pedophilia
• Parent/Child Incest
• Scat

Our judges have given us the go-ahead, but please keep in mind that you will need to garner votes from the fans before you can hope to stand before the Judgementors™️.

Demise LITE specific: Demise LITE will not be allowing problematic content. Any minors who submit problematic content will be forcibly removed from the Event.

Does BakuDeku have to be romantically involved?
The short answer is no. The long answer is that Mod Shott would really, really like it if they were. Disclaimer: Mod Shott is not a judge in the event!

Why is it BkDk? Why not DkBk?
Your imagination is the only thing limiting you here.

Are we really supposed to kill off a main character?
Absolutely!

Does it have to be Bakugou or Midoriya? Can we kill off a different main character?
You’re saying words, but they don’t make sense. There is no one else.

Can traditional artists participate?
Absolutely and please! All we ask is that you supply a clean scan or clear photo of your art!

Are collabs allowed?
Unfortunately, collabs will not be allowed for this event! It wouldn't be fair to some contributors who lack a collab, so to level the playing field, we will be saying no to this one.

Are AUs allowed?
Every. AU. Possible. Please! All the AUs! A multiverse! (Canonverse is good too!!)

Can I submit old content?
The short answer is n...maybe? But probably not.
The long answer is: If it’s never been posted or shared about, sure, why not? But if it’s old, is it really the best you can do? That’s the question you should be asking.

How many pieces/fics can I submit?
For the contest for the title, we require that you only submit one piece for the voting/judging period. Once the Judgementors have completed their tasks and declared the champions, you will be allowed to post any other works you created in the spirit of Demise in the appropriate collection.
